In One Piece, Nami is a character who went through a deeply heartbreaking upbringing as a young girl. As an adult, she found healing strength and unconditional love from the Straw Hats. Reading her story, I wished I could give her a hug. This piece portrays her inner child in a happy summer scene—as if it were my way of hugging that girl. I thought that she would have loved otters, which are insanely cute animals.
